These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, booking system, and massage therapy services. By visiting our site or booking an appointment, you agree to the following terms.


1. Services

Somata Therapeutics provides therapeutic massage, myofascial bodywork, and related wellness services. Treatments are not a replacement for medical care. We do not diagnose or prescribe.

 

2. Eligibility

To book or receive services, clients must:

  • Be 18+ (or have parental/guardian consent)

  • Provide accurate health information

  • Disclose any medical conditions, medications, or changes to health status

 

3. Booking & Cancellation Policy

  • Appointments can be booked online through our Noterro system or by contacting us directly.

  • Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid fees.

  • Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged up to the full fee.

  • Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.

 

4. Payment Terms

  • Payments are accepted via the methods listed at checkout (credit card, debit card, cash or direct billing).

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • All services are billed in Canadian dollars (CAD).

 

5. Health Information & Consent

By booking an appointment, you agree to:

  • Provide complete and truthful health information

  • Update us on any health changes before each session

  • Give informed consent for treatment

  • Understand the risks and benefits of massage therapy

You may withdraw consent at any time.

 

6. Client Conduct

To ensure a safe environment:

  • Inappropriate or sexual behaviour results in immediate termination of the session and refusal of future service.

  • Clients must maintain good hygiene and arrive free from contagious illnesses.

  • We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services at our discretion.

 

7. Confidentiality

All personal and health information is confidential and handled according to our Privacy Policy and Alberta health regulations.

 

8. Website Usage

By using our website, you agree:

  • Not to misuse the site or attempt unauthorized access

  • Not to copy or distribute content without permission

  • That information on the site may change or update without notice

 

9. Liability

Somata Therapeutics is not liable for:

  • Injuries or outcomes resulting from undisclosed health conditions

  • Misuse of information found on our website

  • Actions taken based on self-diagnosis
